Every Thursday from 12-5pm, Broxton Avenue comes alive with the Westwood Village Farmer’s market.

Shoppers can casually stroll the stands where they will find a selection of organic fruits, seasonal vegetables, nuts, and fresh flowers and fun household items.  There are also specialty food items like fresh baked breads and desserts, gourmet olive oils and nut butters, hot food stands featuring Salvadoran pupusas or Mexican guisados. And the health conscious will appreciate the local juice vendor that sells fresh squeezed juices without any added sugars.

On occasion, the Westwood Village Farmer’s hosts live music, weekly events as well as workshops including a Chef to Farmer  program where local chefs provide shoppers with a seasonally inspired recipe and cooking Q&A.

It’s the perfect spot to look for fresh and local additions to tonight’s dinner or stumble upon that one-of-a-kind item, all in a friendly and casual atmosphere.
