Every deal leaves an impression, but some are unforgettable—like this one. I sold close friend's beautifully styled home in Westwood, which passersby thought was professionally staged.
With rising interest rates, I sold the house in just 14 days. But then, the buyer chose an FHA loan for a non-FHA approved complex. This complicated things, but with my experience and commitment, I took on the challenge to get the building approved.
I dipped into my Trusted Advisor Arsenal, navigated bureaucracy, made endless calls, and connected everyone involved. Just as success seemed near, the first time buyer hesitated, and their lender complicated matters further. With so many cause and effect matters at play, we firmed up, and worked through the situation empathetically to get to the crux of the issue.
The sellers stayed calm, focused on moving to their new home. Acting as a mediator, I persevered through intense emails and negotiations. Finally, in the 13th hour, the glimmer of hope we had turned into a shimmering beacon, and we closed the deal. These challenges test an agent, but also highlight the importance of turning a house into a home, a journey that matters deeply to myself and my clients.
