SOLD FEBRUARY 2025 - REPRESENTED SELLER

This one was bittersweet.

For my amazing clients who just moved into their wonderful new home, we had a game plan, and time was of the essence.

I sold this is 7 days, over asking, and the seas for pretty smooth, so our plan worked amazingly.

For the buyers:

One the first weekend of our own house, it was a rainy cold day. Was fairly busy and midway through 2 ladies came in who looked to be in their 70s.

They were very engaged, asking a lot of questions and I asked if they were looking for themselves.

They told me no... we are looking for our parents.

I took a pause to process, and responded "your parents"?

They said yes, and I responded, how old are your parents?

They said our mom is 98 and our dad is 99.

They then told me they lived in the Palisades in their home of 65 years and had lost everything.

This was very sad to hear.

I had the honor of meeting them both and found out the gentleman was a World War II veteran who served in the Navy.

Those men have a special place in my heart as my grandfather was also a ww2 veteran.

His wife was equally amazing and although I'm so happy to be able to help them get settled so they could heal, it's just sad that they had to do this in the first place.

So yes, very bittersweet.
